Description

Powder coatings are solid powder synthetic resin coatings composed of solid resins, pigments, fillers, and additives. Different from common solvent-based coatings and water-based coatings, its dispersion medium is not solvent and water, but air. It has the characteristics of no solvent pollution, 100% film formation, and low energy consumption. There are two main categories of: thermoplastic and thermoset. Thermoplastic type has a poor film appearance (gloss and leveling). The thermosetting type uses thermosetting synthetic resins as film-forming substances. During the drying process, the resins are first melted, then chemically cross-linked, and then cured into a smooth and hard coating.
